ANGA Virtual Workshop for the Joint Submission to the Sharm el-Sheik KJWA Implementation Programme

The 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) of the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, from 6-18 November 2022. The COP27 has various sessions highlighting on the adaptation and agriculture thematic area, e.g., Food and Agriculture for Sustainable Transformation Initiative (FAST), adaptation technologies, climate resilience and agriculture sustainability to attain food security, the role of private sector in agriculture and food systems, finance for Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), including the significant meeting to make a decision on the “Koronivia joint work on agriculture” (KJWA).

The ANGA Virtual Workshop for the Joint Submission to the Sharm el-Sheik KJWA Implementation Programme on 9 March 2023 aims to support the preparation of the document submission to the UNFCCC.

The virtual workshop is being organized by GIZ under the “Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in ASEAN” (ASEAN AgriTrade) Project, FAO-Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP), and Mekong Institute (MI) on behalf of the ASEAN AgriTrade Project.
