ASEAN-CRN Enhanced Digital Skills for Virtual Collaboration Across the Region

In addressing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which require exchanges and collaborations taking place virtually, ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN focal points and development partners honed their digital skills to facilitate online meetings, trainings and events in the region.

The short training on “How to Host Virtual Meetings” took place on 21 February 2022. It provided CRN focal points and development partners with an overview of selected virtual meeting platforms and digital tools. The training aims to equip the participants with a-know-how to participate and to organize virtual meetings or events by using selected digital platforms.

During the session, participants learned useful features of virtual meeting platforms and practised to set-up and schedule the virtual meetings, including interactivity tools such as online survey and quizzes to make virtual exchanges more dynamic and livelier. Before and after the training, participants tested their new gained skills using pre and post quizzes.

The training was supported by the AgriTrade project with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
