In mid-April 2020, the ASEAN Negotiating Group on Agriculture (ANGA) has successfully submitted a joint submission to the Koronovia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The submission was done by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-food of Brunei Darussalam as chair of AMAF on behalf of the ten member states of ASEAN.
The ANGA submission contained common views of the ten ASEAN Member States on the topics of 2(e), Improved livestock management systems, including agropastoral production systems and others and topic 2(f), Socioeconomic and food security dimensions of climate change in the agricultural sector.
