This report shows the findings and recommendations of a climate proofing mission in Sayabouri, north-east Laos, examining climate change impacts, vulnerabilities and suitable adaptation options in the rice and maize value chains (VC) and their promotion concepts. The main objective of the mission is advising LM-RED and it’s counterparts on increasing the resilience of the rice and maize value chains on the district, provincial and national level towards climate change impacts. Furthermore, it aims to identify areas of regional support on how GAP-CC could support Laos and the other ASEAN member countries in this endeavor.
