The 1st Consultation Workshop ASEAN Guidelines for Promoting CSA Practices Volume 3

The first Consultation Workshop on the ASEAN Guidelines for Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Practices – Volume 3 and Implementation Framework was organized virtually on 7 July 2021. The event was hosted by the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) as the current Chair of the ASEAN Working Group on Agriculture Research and Development (ATWGARD) and member of the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN).

This workshop aims to generate insights into climate-smart technologies and practices as well as garnering thoughts on the production of a new volume for the ASEAN Regional Guidelines for Promoting CSA Practices and a complementing implementation strategy.

The process is supported by the Climate Smart Land Use (CSLU) in ASEAN project, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), with contributions from the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA).
