The Paris Agreement on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP 21) recognized the importance of working with Indigenous Peoples in adapting and mitigating the effects of climate change through the use of traditional knowledge. However, since 2015, how has the world recognized the importance of Indigenous Women’s role in combating our current climate crisis?

Join us for a discussion on Indigenous Women’s power and participation at all levels of the climate policy in South East Asia post-COP 25!This webinar will explore how to mitigate the effects of climate change that are impacting migration patterns, traditional food production systems, livelihoods, health and land rights of Indigenous Women in the Southeast Asian region.This webinar is in partnership with Cuso International and Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact, with support from the Stockholm Environment Institute and Global Affairs Canada.
