Call for Nomination

The ASEAN Secretariat, in coordination with the Climate Smart Land Use in ASEAN (CSLU) project, will organize a technical event of ASEAN Climate Resilience Network in the format of a virtual training on the topic of

Unlocking the Potential of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Climate Action and Green Recovery.

Two training batches of three hours on three consecutive days as follow:

1st batch : 28-30 September 2021

2nd batch : 4-6 October 2021

The training is designed to:

• Strengthen the understanding of NbS in a view of emerging discussions around the topic and considering the ASEAN policy context.
• Provide clearer picture of mainstreaming and financing of the concept into effective climate actions and green recovery in agriculture and forestry contexts.
• Reflect on the potential of the NbS in agriculture and forestry in AMS and reflect on mainstreaming and financing of the approach in attaining climate targets. It is targeted at sector experts and decision-makers working in agriculture and forestry both in the national and regional context.
