The 10th Anniversary of ASEAN-CRN represents a pivotal moment in the network’s collective efforts towards sustainable agrifood transformation in response to climate change. Under the
theme “Celebrating a Decade of Enhanced Regional Cooperation for a Sustainable AgriculturalvFuture,” this event aims to strengthen collaboration and facilitate knowledge sharing among
stakeholders, ensuring that our agricultural systems remain resilient and capable of meeting theneeds of our populations.
Thailand’s Department of Agriculture (DOA) currently serves as the Chair of ASEAN-CRN and is hosting this milestone event, which is co-organised by the Mekong Institute (MI) and the Food
and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Winrock International and Global
Green Growth Institute (GGGI). This leadership reflects Thailand’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and addressing agriculture challenges intensified by climate variability.
The event is anticipated to attract approximately 120 stakeholders, including ASEAN-CRN focal points from each ASEAN Member State, representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat and relevant working groups, as well as development partners and supporters of ASEAN-CRN.
