Indonesia National Study: Promotion of Climate Resilience in Rice and Maize

 

 

Crop insurance, web-based planting calendar, silase for animal feed, and climate-smart farming practices are the climate change adaptation (CCA) options that can be scaled up nationally and regionally. The availability of human resources, specifically extension workers, is a critical element in promoting the adoption of these CCA options. Farmers usually decide what farming practices they will employ, but collaboration between extension workers and farmer groups could influence the farming activities in a particular region or location.
