The ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) formed the ASEAN Negotiating Group on Agriculture (ANGA) as a direct contribution to the ASEAN Food and Agriculture (FAF) Strategic Plan 2025. ANGA allows ASEAN to shape multilateral environmental agreements for the protection of the region’s land use sector.
ANGA originated from the activities and successes of the ASEAN-CRN that translated science into policies. ANGA and its ToR was endorsed by the 38th ASEAN Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry Meeting in 2016.
