Inspired by the positive and energetic exchange from its first virtual meeting last April 22, 2020 entitled “ASEAN-CRN in the time of Corona”, the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) has developed a monthly series of virtual meetings and webinars to respond to the need to keep engagement amongst partners and members going in these times of economic and public health uncertainties.
As a knowledge exchange platform that promotes resiliency and low emissions in agriculture and other land use in the ASEAN region, several relevant topics from key experts within the region and around the world are structured to be shared within 90 minute sessions and a special emphasis is given to discussions amongst members and other participants.
Opportunities to contribute to resiliency and food security in ASEAN amidst climate change will be highlighted. Also, the meetings will address opportunities to scale up common priorities and good practices through financing and technical cooperation guided by the needs outlined in various ASEAN-CRN knowledge products and by the joint submissions of the ASEAN Negotiating Group for Agriculture. In this sense, ASEAN-CRN shows its commitment to continue contributing to overall ASEAN target goals.
As we live in uncertain times, topics can also change. Stay attuned to our updates!
