The 8th ASEAN-CRN Annual Meeting

ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) and its partners held the 8th Annual Meeting virtually on 4 April 2023.

The ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework recognizes the importance of sustainable agriculture and climate-smart agriculture as tools for recovery from the pandemic. Against this backdrop, the Annual Meeting supports the demands and needs of the ASEAN agriculture and land use sectors. Moreover, the Meeting reported on the activities and achievements of the ASEAN-CRN and reviewed the agreed 2-year work plan (2022-2023) during the 7th Annual Meeting.

The host of the ASEAN-CRN Annual Meeting is the Department of Agriculture, Philippines, together with the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), Thailand as ASEAN-CRN Chair and the ASEAN Secretariat.

The ASEAN-CRN Annual Meeting receives support from the ASEAN-German Cooperation Project, “Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in ASEAN” (ASEAN AgriTrade) and funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAO-RAP); and Mekong Institute (MI) on behalf of the ASEAN AgriTrade Project.
