The 8th ASEAN-CRN Annual Meeting

On 4 April 2023, the ASEAN-CRN will hold its 8th Annual Meeting virtually.
It aims to support the demands and needs of ASEAN agriculture and land use sectors and to contribute towards the implementation of the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework, which states sustainable agriculture and climate-smart agriculture as tools for ASEAN recovery from the pandemic.
The meeting will report on the activities and achievements of the ASEAN-CRN and it will review the agreed 2-year work plan (2022-2023) during the 7th Annual meeting.
The complete agenda will be circulated to the ASEAN-CRN focal points.
The host of the ASEAN-CRN annual meeting is the Department of Agriculture, Philippines, together with the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), Thailand as ASEAN-CRN Chair and the ASEAN Secretariat.
The ASEAN Climate Resilience Network is organizing the Annual Meeting with support from the ASEAN-German Cooperation Project, “Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in ASEAN” (ASEAN AgriTrade) and funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAO-RAP); and Mekong Institute (MI) on behalf of the ASEAN AgriTrade Project.
